The lemon scent is strongly present in this essential oil, but with a lower acidity intensity than the fruit itself. Due to its analgesic, antimicrobial, astringent, and bactericidal properties, it was used in traditional Indian medicine, also known as Ayurveda, to combat infectious diseases, lower fever, and even as a sedative.

It reduces muscle aches and morning fatigue, helps the respiratory system, and calms fever. It relieves headaches, migraines, and symptoms caused by nervous stress. It also improves concentration.

Caution:

This essential oil should only be used diluted in a base oil for topical use.
